Replaced by …a parking lot for the worst* Walgreens in Milwaukee.

Per Ron Faiola at Lest We Forget:

“This appeared in the Milwaukee Journal on Oct. 21, 1983. Plunkett Investments bought it for $410,000 according to the info on the back of the photo.”


* surface parking lots on busy intersections are always a bad idea, but this one takes the cake.
